Inspired by the infamous Ranga-Billa case that shook Delhi in 1978, Raakh transforms one of India's most horrifying crimes into an emotionally gripping crime drama. Even for viewers unfamiliar with the real-life case, the Prime Video series unfolds as a compelling mystery while never losing sight of the tragedy at its centre.

The eight-episode series follows Sub-Inspector Jay Prakash (Ali Fazal), the officer tasked with investigating the disappearance of siblings, Suman and Sahil Arora. Rather than focusing solely on the crime itself, Raakh tells the story through the eyes of a young cop battling pressure from superiors, public scrutiny and his own emotional investment in the case.
