Actress Digangana Suryavanshi who is a part of the web series ‘Show Stopper’ has been accused of demanding Rs 6 crore in the name of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar securing him and his company as presenters for the project. A police complaint has been filed against the actress for allegedly cheating and criminal breach of trust under IPC Section 420 and Section 406. 

According to a report by News18, 'Show Stopper' director Manish Harishankar and the production house MH Films have also issued a defamation notice to actor Rakesh Bedi and Suryavanshi’s fashion designer, Krishan Parmar for making false statements about the project tarnishing its reputation and misleading the media by stating that the payments were withheld and project was shelved.
