Amid the ongoing controversy surrounding cheating allegations levelled against him by Lock Upp contestant Shreya Kalra, an unseen clip from the show has surfaced in which the actor speaks candidly about his approach to relationships.

During a conversation with fellow contestant Payal Gaming, Kushal opened up about how deeply invested he becomes when he is dating someone. Reflecting on his personal life, he said, "If I am shooting, that's my life, and if I am dating somebody, that's my world. When I date someone, aisa kabhi hota hi nahi ki I am with friends, koi insecurity hoti hi nahi kabhi other party ko. My world revolves around her."
