The controversy comes days after More was embroiled in backlash over a separate crowd interaction in which an audience member, identified as Himanshu Jangra, implied that spending Rs 370 on a plate of biryani during a date entitled him to something in return. The clip triggered widespread condemnation online, with many accusing both the audience member and the comedian of normalising problematic attitudes. More later issued a public apology, admitting that he should have challenged the remarks instead of laughing and moving on.
