In news that has taken the entire television industry by storm, <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/bigg-boss-6-winner-urvashi-dholakia-meets-with-car-accident-in-mumbai-23268956" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Urvashi Dholakia</a> has undergone neck surgery to remove a tumour. The TV actress revealed that a small tumour was discovered in her neck and was successfully removed.

Urvashi <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/photo/jhalak-dikhhla-jaa-11-shiv-thakare-to-urvashi-dholakia-list-of-confirmed-contestants-97835" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">posted </a>a statement that read, &ldquo;I had to undergo surgery as a tumour (cyst) was diagnosed in the neck in early December 2023. My surgery was successful, and now I have been advised to rest for 15 to 20 days.&rdquo;
Urvashi Dholakia's son Kshitij posted a video of his mother while in the hospital, along with some other videos from the hospital room. The visuals of Urvashi worried netizens to no end.

About Urvashi Dholakia
Urvashi Dholakia made her debut with the Shri Adhikari Brothers' (SAB) Waqt Ki Raftar. She used to go to the sets from school, and Mr. Adhikari would ask her to go back and finish off her homework as soon as little Urvashi's shot was over. She also featured in the 1988 film Kab Tak Chup Rahungi. She was also part of Nadira Babbar's theatre group, Ekjute.
Urvashi Dholakia was 14 when she played Shilpa in the popular sitcom Dekh Bhai Dekh. She even starred in Zamana Badal Gaya, where she played Tiku Talsania and Aruna Irani's daughter Anju.
In 2001, Urvashi Dholakia featured in one of the most popular daily soaps of that time, Kabhii Sautan, Kabhii Saheli, co-starring Anita Hassanandani and Pankit Thakker. Though the show was quite a hit, it did not give much boost to Urvashi's career as much as her next on-screen appearance as Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
