It follows a simple, bespectacled woman, who is often judged for her appearance, but remains kind and resilient. Kanjilal says, “Society’s constant judgement towards conventional beauty has shattered Sohni’s confidence. I have seen a lot of girls who have been judged for their looks in real life, and the show somewhere reflects that reality.”
