Sanchita Ugale death: AICWA writes to Maharashtra CM seeking SIT probe

Days after television actress Sanchita Ugale’s reported death by suicide, the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has urged Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT). The body has sought an independent and transparent probe into the circumstances surrounding the 22-year-old actress’ death.

The President of the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA), Suresh Shyamlal Gupta, has penned a letter addressed to the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, requesting the constitution of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to conduct an independent, impartial, and transparent investigation into the death of actress Sanchita Ugale.
