When asked to list five activities his wife, Disha Parmar, used to do before marriage but no longer does, Rahul made a suggestive gesture concerning sexual intimacy in the video. According to News 18, the incident has been described by some viewers obscene and disrespectful to his wife.

Pati Patni Aur Panga, hosted by Sonali Bendre and Munawar Faruqui, features celebrity couples taking part in entertaining challenges and respond to questions about their married lives. In one of the segments, the participants were asked to list five things their wives had done prior to marriage but have stopped doing afterwards.
