Anil Kapoor is all set to return to television as the host of a new reality show, India Ke Top 1 percent. The Star Plus show, which will also stream on JioHotstar, is scheduled to premiere on September 5, promising a fresh take on the conventional quiz and reality-show format.

Unlike traditional quiz programmes that largely depend on general knowledge and memorised facts, India Ke Top 1 percent will focus on how contestants think and respond to situations. The show will test participants on logic, reasoning, observation, problem-solving, mental agility and quick decision-making, particularly when they are under pressure.
