Actor Karishma Tanna, who is blessed with her first child (baby boy) with husband Varun Bangera, has opened up about why she initially hesitated to embrace motherhood. The actress revealed that global uncertainty and the state of the world made her question whether it was the right time to bring a child into it, despite always knowing that she wanted to become a mother someday.

Speaking candidly about her pregnancy journey with Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, Karishma admitted that she had several fears before deciding to start a family. She said news about wars, violence and unrest across the world often left her wondering if it was fair to raise a child in such an environment.
