Gurucharan Singh, known for his role as Sodhi in '<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/television-news/article/taarak-mehta-ka-ooltah-chashmah-jethalal-gets-into-trouble-while-trying-to-help-babita-23342549" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,</a>' has disappeared after leaving Delhi. He was supposed to travel to Mumbai from the airport, but neither did he arrive in Mumbai nor did he return home.
About the Gurucharan Singh missing case
ETimes TV also got a digital copy of the complaint filed for Gurucharan's disappearance. The complaint, written in Hindi by Gurucharan's father, was shared with them. The statement read as, 'My son Gurucharan Singh, Age: 50 years, had left at 8:30 am on 22nd April to go to Mumbai. He went to the airport to catch a flight. He didn't reach Mumbai, neither has he returned home and his phone is not reachable. He is mentally stable and we had been searching for him but now he has been missing.'
Gurucharan Singh, known for playing Roshan Singh Sodhi on "Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah," left the show because of his father's health problems, prioritizing his family. However, like other actors who left the show, he faced issues with unpaid dues. It wasn't until the controversy involving Jennifer Mistry that his dues were settled.

She had filed an FIR against the producer last year. The verdict of the case came out last month and it was pronounced in favour of Jennifer.&nbsp;
According to a report in ETimes. the judgment ordered Modi to clear Jennifer's outstanding dues and also pay an additional Rs 5 lakh to her as compensation. Confirming the news, Jennifer told ETimes, "The verdict is in my favour, confirming the allegations I made with strong evidence. This outcome surpasses what the police achieved in the past year."
Expressing her mixed feelings towards the verdict, Jennifer said, "I believe a woman's reputation matters most. It's been over 40 days, and I still haven't received my due amount, which I earned through hard work on the serial (TMKOC). Despite proving Mr Modi guilty of sexual harassment, no punishment has been given to all three accused. Sohil and Jatin weren't included in the verdict, which disappoints me. The local committee ordered my due amount, which I deserve. This verdict clears that my case was not fabricated, and I wasn't seeking cheap publicity. While I'm glad my harassment was recognised, I don't feel I've received proper justice yet."
