Addressing comparisons with previous reality stars, Kushal made it clear that he does not believe in following anyone’s path. “So, it's not like I'm following someone's footsteps. It's my own journey. And I live my own journey,” he said. He added, “If someone does something first, I don't follow anyone's footsteps. I make my own.”
