The Tom Holland and Zendaya-starrer has been receiving a warm response among the audience, who are all praise for the film, as well as at the box office. On its opening day, the film has already grossed over Rs 73 crore, becoming the biggest Hollywood opener in India, even beating Avengers: Endgame. However, a detail from the film is now going viral on the internet, leaving netizens in splits. The film has a mention of the famous Indian sitcom Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah.

In one of the scenes, between Ned, played by Jacob Batalon, MJ, played by Zendaya, and Spider-Man, portrayed by Tom Holland, the three are seen talking about technology. In the Hindi dub of the film, Ned can be seen asking Spider-Man about a technology, which the latter refuses to answer.
