Yash’s much-awaited pan-India film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has received clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) ahead of its theatrical release. The Geetu Mohandas directorial has been awarded an ‘A’ certificate and, surprisingly, has been cleared without any cuts, despite being promoted as a violent revenge drama.

According to the CBFC certification details, Toxic has a runtime of around 3 hours and 12 minutes. The censor board has reportedly asked the makers to mute and replace two words or phrases in the Kannada version, with corresponding changes in the English subtitles. The film will also carry the mandatory anti-smoking and anti-drinking warnings. Apart from these minor modifications, no scenes have been removed from the film.
