Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Thalapathy Vijay had a heartfelt moment during his Madhurandhagam roadshow on Friday. A volunteer handed Vijay a framed picture of his son Jason Sanjay from Sigma, which hit theatres on the same day. Vijay accepted the frame, proudly lifted it above his head and happily displayed it to the crowd.

Vijay raises Jason’s ‘Sigma’ frame

The moment came as Vijay was travelling through Madhurandhagam as part of his political schedule. When a volunteer presented him with a framed photograph of Jason Sanjay from Sigma, Vijay took it and lifted it above his head for the crowd to see. The gesture quickly caught attention online, particularly because Vijay had deliberately kept himself out of the film’s promotional campaign. Vijay could not attend the film’s first-day-first-show in Chennai because of his scheduled engagements. Earlier on Friday, he launched a free bus travel programme for women before heading to his roadshow.
