When a reporter asked if she liked beef, the actress calmly clarified that she is a vegetarian and has never tried it. The question, however, did not go down well with several social media users, who criticised its relevance and sensitivity.

During the media interaction, she was asked, “Did you like beef?” The question appeared to catch the actress off guard and left her visibly annoyed. Despite her discomfort, Malavika responded to the question by making it clear that she is a vegetarian. “I am vegetarian, so I haven't tried beef,” she said.
