Yash’s Toxic was finally released in theatres after multipe delays on August 26, 2026. However, hours after the film's release, a scene was reportedly leaked online. The leaked scene involved an intimate scene between the film's lead pair, Kiara Advani and Yash. Consequently, the leak raised concerns around piracy. Now, Akshay Oberoi, who plays Tony in the film, has reacted to the leak.

Reacting to the leak, the actor pointed out how unlike some films which surfaced online even before their theatrical release, Toxic managed remained secure until it reached cinemas.
