<p>The Central Crime Branch (CCB) investigating the Bengaluru rave party case arrested Telugu actress <strong><a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/regional-indian-cinema-news/article/when-radhika-apte-called-telugu-film-industry-patriarchal-recalled-unpleasant-incident-with-powerful-male-co-star-23351866" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Hema </a></strong>after questioning her on Monday. The rave party took place on May 19 at a farmhouse near Electronic City.</p>

<p>The <strong><a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/regional-indian-cinema-news/article/when-radhika-apte-called-telugu-film-industry-patriarchal-recalled-unpleasant-incident-with-powerful-male-co-star-23351866" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">CCB </a></strong>had called Hema to their office on Monday. Sources say she showed up wearing a burqa to conceal her identity. However, her answers during the interrogation were unsatisfactory, leading to her arrest. According to CCB sources, the rave party was disguised as a birthday party, with most attendees coming from neighbouring Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.</p>

<p>They also mentioned that a few people from Bengaluru were present.</p>
<p>Acting on a tip-off, the CCB raided the party and collected blood samples from attendees. The tests showed that 86 people, including Hema, tested positive for narcotics. Sources revealed that 103 people attended the party, including 73 men and 30 women.</p>
<p>During the raid, police seized MDMA pills and crystals, hydro cannabis, cocaine, luxury cars, DJ equipment, and lighting gear worth Rs 1.5 crore.</p>
<p>Speaking to the media which had gathered outside the police station, Hema insisted, &ldquo;I didn't do anything. I am innocent. Look at what they're doing to me. I did not take drugs. I shared the initial denial video from Hyderabad, not Bengaluru. I even shared a video of me cooking biryani in Hyderabad.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Last Monday, Hema released a video to the press saying that her name was mentioned without reason and that she was actually at a farmhouse near Hyderabad. Hema said she kept getting calls from reporters and friends about her alleged arrest. In the video, she clarified that she was in Hyderabad, not Bengaluru. She said in the video, &ldquo;I have not gone anywhere, I am enjoying and chilling at a farmhouse in Hyderabad. Please don&rsquo;t believe rumours. I don&rsquo;t know who&rsquo;s there, it&rsquo;s fake news that I was at the party.&rdquo;&nbsp;</p><p>
