Host and actress Pearle Maaney recently expressed her stance on the student protests, for which she faced mixed reactions. Following the backlash on her post, she took to her Instagram Stories to slam the people criticising her for getting triggered at her statement. She even took a jibe at a ‘failed filmmaker,’ seemingly Sibi Malayil, for writing on her statement. However, a few hours later, Pearle deleted the statement and disabled the comments section.

It has triggered so many people that I want peace safety and non violence. I wonder who these people are. A failed filmmaker now writing a 10 page script about my 4 page post.
