The makers of director Mahesh Narayanan's eagerly-awaited thriller Patriot has finally locked the release date of the film. The film marks the reunion of actors Mammootty and Mohanlal after a long gap. The film which also stars Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban and Nayanthara will be releasing in theatres on April 23, 2026.

Actor Mohanlal, who plays one of the leads in one of the most-anticipated films of the year, took to his X timeline on Republic Day to make the announcement. He wrote, “Unleashing the spirit of fearless voices, this Republic Day. PATRIOT arrives worldwide on April 23 , 2026. The countdown begins NOW."
