Mohanlal is all set to headline a story rooted in one of India's most significant overseas evacuation missions. The Malayalam superstar's upcoming film, previously known as L367, has officially been titled Operation Ganga. Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Vishnu Mohan, the film promises to bring the high-stakes operation to the big screen.

The title refers to India's evacuation mission during the Russia-Ukraine war, when the country worked to bring home thousands of Indian citizens, including students, stranded in Ukraine following the outbreak of the conflict. Described by the makers as a story of “a nation's promise”, the film will explore the mission carried out on foreign soil and its eventual culmination.
