Actor Nehha Pendse, a prominent name in the Marathi film industry, made waves on the big screen in 2026 with Tighee, a project she co-produced with her husband Shardul Singh Bayas. The critically acclaimed film put Nehha back in the spotlight as an actor after she rose to fame with her stint in Bigg Boss 12.

Nehha tells mid-day that Tighee was special because it reminded her why she enjoyed acting. When asked if she’s become more meticulous in choosing what comes next, the actor, who has collaborated with Aura Bling Jewellery as their brand ambassador, says, “Success definitely gives you the confidence to be more selective, but my approach has always been to choose stories and characters that excite me. Today, I'm looking even more closely at the project's overall vision, the people I'm collaborating with, and whether the role offers something new for me as an actor. I want every project to challenge me creatively and leave a lasting impact on both me and the audience.”
