All eyes are on Prithviraj Sukumaran and Mohanlal for Lucifer 3, following their L2: Empuraan made Rs 265.5 crore worldwide. According to recent sources, Prithviraj referred to the Lucifer series picture as India's 'most expensive' film, among other facts. His crew, Poffactio, took to social media to dispel the rumours, labeling them a 'hate campaign' against the actor-director.

Prithviraj's team posted images of several headlines claiming, "Lucifer 3 will be the biggest and most expensive film in Indian cinema and will feature underwater action, says star Prithviraj Sukumaran."

Prithviraj's team issued a statement

They said that they 'express disappointment' about the 'false report' that Prithviraj never uttered these statements. They further stated, "It appears that this misinformation came from a bogus profile ID as part of a hate campaign. To clarify the truth to the public and Prithviraj's supporters, we request that all channels cross-check facts before reporting and republish revised news. We anticipate a competent approach to this situation. "Thank you."
