Kannada filmmaker S Narayan has found himself in legal trouble after his family was booked by police in a dowry harassment case. It all began after their son Pavan’s wife, Pavithra, filed a police complaint against her in-laws alleging financial exploitation. She even claimed she was forced to leave her home with her minor son.

Pavithra and Pavan got married in 2021. As per her complaint, she took care of household expenses and even gave Pavan a loan as he was unemployed. Her mother also supported him financially when he wanted to open an acting institute.
