Jana Nayagan makers share update on film's certification days after fake CBFC certificate went viral

Days after a fake CBFC certificate of Vijay's final film, Jana Nayagan, went viral on the internet, the makers have now shared an update on the certification. They also expressed hope of receiving the certification soon and releasing the film to theatres

The makers of Jana Nayagan have finally broken the silence on the Censor Board certification of the film. Touted as the final film of Tamil Nadu CM Joseph Vijay, the movie has remained in the news for months now. Recently, claims surfaced that it had been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an 'A' certificate. Besides, a fake censor certificate also went viral. Now, producer KVN Productions has refuted the reports, adding that the movie is yet to be certified.

The clarification from the makers comes after a picture, which many claimed to be the censor certificate of the film, went viral on the internet. However, the production house has denied its authenticity.
