Amid the ongoing legal row and release delay, the producer of Vijay's Jana Nayagan has now filed a plea to withdraw the case against the Central Borad of Film Certification. The hearing for the same is scheduled for February 10, 2026.

According to reports, the producer of Jana Nayagan has officially moved the court to withdraw its writ petition against the CBFC. The producer submitted a letter submitted to the Madras High Court Registry, wherein he confirmed they have opted to take the film before a revising committee instead of continuing the legal battle.
