Ahead of the film's global release, director Jeethu Joseph took to his social media handle to revisit the characters of Georgekutty, with whom he has lived for 13 years. The character was portrayed by Mohanlal.

On the eve of the release of Drishyam 3, Jeethu Joseph took to his Instagram timeline to share a thought on the character he had created. He wrote, "13 years with Georgekutty. I'm not sure if I wrote his story, or if he wrote mine. In Cinemas Worldwide From Tomorrow. #Drishyam3".
