New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani recently added fresh fuel to speculation surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding with his latest comment. During a recent media briefing, Mamdani seemingly gave away details about the date and location of the much-discussed wedding.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, June 15, about New York City’s security preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026, the mayor suggested that Swift’s wedding would take place in New York around the start of July. His remarks soon drew attention since neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly confirmed thier wedding plans, venue details or a date.
