He wrote in the caption, “In the gym with Drew McIntyre. Good lad. Salt of the earth. Just finishing up the shoot on The Last Druid. We have been shooting in Spain since May. It has been two years now since playing Hermann Goering in ‘Nuremberg’”.

Russell Crowe essayed the role of Nazi leader Hermann Goring in the psychological thriller film ‘Nuremberg’. The film was helmed by James Vanderbilt, and centers on the intense interrogations and psychological duel between Goring and US Army psychiatrist Douglas Kelley, who must determine if the Nazi official is fit to stand trial.

Goring was one of the most powerful figures in the Nazi Party, which controlled Germany from 1933 to 1945. He also served as the Supreme Commander of the Air Force, a position he held until the final days of the regime.

He further mentioned, “The long sweaty days in the beautiful Spanish sunshine have definitely been a great motivator. As I always say, it’s one layer of tissue paper at a time. Consistency is your friend”, he added.

Netizens lauded the actor for his single-point focus, and his journey. One user wrote, “To be this JACKED at 62 is INSANE”.

Another user wrote, “People see the build. They rarely see the thousands of ordinary days that built it. Respect, Russell”.

A 3rd user wrote, “When the Gladiator met the Scottish Warrior. My General”.

Russell Crowe has built a reputation as one of the most intense performers of his generation, as he moved from Australian cinema to Hollywood in the 1990s. His career trajectory peaked with powerful dramatic roles that showcased his physicality, emotional range, and commanding screen presence.
