Hollywood star Kate Winslet has revealed that shedding troubled characters after playing them has been difficult. The Academy Award-winning actor said on the Lessons from Our Mothers podcast: “There’s this thing that happens as an actor, and it sounds self-indulgent so I rarely say it. But when you play a difficult part, Mare of Easttown [2021] for example, you do have to kind of come out the other side. I call it re-entry. Re-entry into your own life, going back into your friendships, reintegrating into the rhythm of family,” she explained.
