British cinematographer George Richmond, best known for his work on <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/entertainment/bollywood-news/article/deadpool-wolverine-ott-disney-hotstar-bhuvan-bam-vidyut-jammwal-23433762" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Deadpool &amp; Wolverine</a> (2024) and the Kingsman franchise, sustained serious neck injuries after a paragliding accident in Himachal Pradesh&rsquo;s Kullu district on June 8.&nbsp;
Richmond, 54, was rescued by local authorities with assistance from the Indian Air Force and was first airlifted to Kullu for treatment.
He was later shifted to Chandigarh&rsquo;s Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), where he successfully underwent surgery on Thursday. Richmond is currently recovering following the medical procedure.
