Nearly a year after welcoming his first child with wife Alba Baptista, Chris Evans is offering a rare glimpse into life as a new dad. The Marvel star spoke about the unexpectedly emotional side of parenthood, admitting that he finds himself missing daughter Alma Grace even when she is right beside him.

In an interview with The Dodo, Evans revealed that he often checks on Alma while she sleeps. “You miss her while you're holding her, you know what I mean? It's a strange feeling. You just want to be around her all the time.” the actor said, describing the unusual feeling of constantly wanting to be around his daughter. Evans and Baptista, who married in 2023, welcomed Alma in October 2025.
