K-pop stars BTS on Monday, made history at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards by winning 3 prestigious awards. The group won three out of the six awards for which they were nominated, Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist, and Top Selling Song for 'Butter.' BTS won three awards for two years consecutively.

BTS has overtaken Destiny’s Child to become the group to win the most Billboard Music awards and have won at every single Billboard Music Award since 2017. Destiny’s Child’s record for holding most awards was unbeatable for 17 years. Their total awards tally goes up to 12, surpassing group Destiny’s Child’s record of 11 wins.
