Actor Ranveer Singh embraced fatherhood last September. Today, he turns 40 and marks his first birthday after becoming a father to his baby girl, Dua. He welcomed his first child with his wife and actress Deepika Padukone last year. On his birthday, we recall the time he spoke about embracing this new phase of his life.

After the birth of his baby, Ranveer Singh, at an event in Mumbai, expressed his excitement about being a father to a baby girl. “That infinite happiness that I am experiencing right now—I wish I had the words to express what it’s like. But there are no words in any language that can describe this happiness. It’s like magic. I am excited for me.” At the same event, he also said, “I have been on daddy duty for a long time now.”

Meanwhile, barring a brief cameo in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again last year, Ranveer has not been seen on the big screen after the 2023 hit film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani. The actor will be unveiling his first look from the much-awaited upcoming film Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar.
