Sunday evenings, for years, have meant only one thing to the All Stars Football Club (ASFC) — hours of football practice at the Jamnabai Narsee School playground in Juhu. But their weekly ritual was cancelled on October 25, in light of the October 18 attack on actor Tiger Shroff that took place outside the ground. Bunty Walia, who owns the ASFC, has called off all training sessions until further notice. We have heard that they will resume only after necessary security arrangements have been put in place.

A source from the ASFC told mid-day that the shooting attempt on Shroff — where reportedly five to seven bullets were fired at the actor’s car by two men on a motorbike — has left the team shaken. The source said, “The October 25 practice match was cancelled by Bunty Walia. He is clear that till a security plan is put in place, he won’t announce the next match. Many actors are part of the ASFC, including Abhishek Bachchan, Kartik Aaryan, and Ranbir Kapoor. Everyone’s safety is top priority.”
