Actress Sadia Khateeb recently created history by becoming the first Bollywood actress to shoot inside Vietnam’s Son Doong Cave. Notably, it is the largest cave in the world and widely known to be one of the most dangerous natural environments on the planet. She shot parts of her upcoming film Silaa in the cave. 

Sadia Khateeb shoots for four days in Vietnam’s Son Doong Cave

Sadia, along with her crew, spent four days inside the cave without a network, electricity, or washroom facilities. They went through extreme humidity, complete darkness, and fearful silences throughout the four days. According to experts, shooting in Son Doong is extremely tough and it can be life-threatening. The cave is usually explored only by trained adventurers with special permissions, which makes Sadia's shoot all the more extraordinary and challenging.  

For her achievement, The Diplomat actress was honoured with a medal and certificate as recognition. The actress shared photos from the experience on her Instagram to celebrate the moment with her fans.
