Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan fans were briefly given a reason to celebrate after pictures purportedly showing the two stars together on the sets of King surfaced online. The images quickly fuelled speculation that Kareena had joined Shah Rukh for a song in Siddharth Anand’s much-awaited action film. However, there is a major catch: the viral pictures are AI-generated and are not genuine set photographs. The confusion comes at a time when reports have claimed that Kareena is indeed set to reunite with Shah Rukh for a special song in King.

Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s King pics go viral? Know the truth behind it

The pictures began circulating on social media on October 6, with posts claiming that Shah Rukh and Kareena were shooting together in South Africa. However, the visuals are not authentic. Free Press Journal reported that the images were created using artificial intelligence, with several social media users themselves pointing out inconsistencies and questioning their authenticity. This is also not the first time that purported King set visuals have been fabricated. Earlier, images claiming to show Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji from the film had also circulated online and were identified as AI-generated. The development highlights how difficult it has become for fans to distinguish genuine film leaks from AI-created content, particularly around highly anticipated projects.
