Salman Khan turns 60: Fans celebrate with 600 charity drives across India and abroad

What’s the best way for Salman Khan’s fans to celebrate his birthday? To follow in the superstar’s footsteps and help those in need. That’s what they are doing this year on a grand scale. As he turns 60 today, we’ve learnt that fan clubs across the country began charity programmes from early December to mark the occasion.  

A source close to the actor said that 600 charity programmes have been organised in the past three weeks by over 200 fan clubs across India, Dubai, and Oman. For starters, a fan club based out of Bihar organised a community food distribution in Patna on December 15.
