Salman Khan has weighed in on the ongoing discussion around Nitesh Tiwari's much-anticipated film Ramayana, urging audiences to focus on the epic rather than its VFX and reported Rs 4,000 crore budget. The actor also drew parallels between Lord Ram's qualities and his character in Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace.

Salman Khan on Ramayana

He told the media, “I think the discussion around ‘Ramayana’ should be focused on ‘Ramayana’, and not the VFX, cost of production and other peripherals. This entire narrative of INR 4,000 crores around the film and its VFX is redundant. The discussion should be around ‘Ramayana’, Ram, Sita and Ravan.”
