Actor Ronit Roy became the latest celebrity to fall victim to cyber fraud, after impostors allegedly used his identity to dupe his fans. The actor made sure to alert his fans via social media on Thursday. The actor warned everyone about a scammer who has been allegedly using his identity to target people online, especially women, asking them for money.

Calling out the fraud publicly, Ronit, in an Instagram post, wrote, "It has come to my notice that someone has been using my name and reaching out to people, especially girls and asking for money. This person has been trying to take bookings in my name. The number involved is a Zangi number 3318085685. The email id being used is ronitroybookingshotmail.com Everyone, be careful. As for the perpetrator.... "cops are coming for you.""
