Akshay Kumar, the ultimate ‘Khiladi’ of Bollywood, is known to do more films in a year than one can comprehend. One of those films happened to be ‘Mission Raniganj’. Mission Raniganj is an addition to his list of real-life-inspired films and biopics. It is based on a coal mine incident that took place in 1975. It also stars Parineeti Chopra. Mission Raniganj, directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, is currently running in theatres globally.

The movie, unfortunately, did not pan out according to Akshay Kumar’s expectations. According to trade reports, the movie bombed on the first day itself. But what does that mean for the movie?
