Twenty years after filmmaker Priyadarshan delivered a laugh riot with Malamaal Weekly (2006), the comedy is set to return. Mid-day had learnt that Malamaal Weekly 2 is currently in the works, bringing the franchise back with another dose of chaos and humour. Now, details about the cast have surfaced. As per reports, the film will star Parineeti Chopra and Raveena Tandon.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Both the actresses are perfect as per the requirement of the script. Hence, the makers were really keen to have them on board. Thankfully, both Raveena Tandon and Parineeti Chopra loved the script and their respective characters. They readily signed the film.”
