After the 31-year-old won the Miss India title, she started receiving offers from Bollywood. However she decided to opt for movies down South before making her debut in Hindi Film Industry with Harry Baweja&#39;s &#39;Qayamat: City Under Threat&#39;. <img alt="Neha Dhupia" src="/imagedata/2012/jun/Neha-Dhupia_9.jpg" style="width: 500px; height: 720px; " /> The movie did averagely well at the box office. Then she rose to fame with her bold role of a sex worker in &#39;Julie&#39; (2004). &quot;It (&#39;Julie 2&#39;) is something that I don&#39;t want to do right now. May be couple of years down the line I will do it but not now. I have got a bunch of films which are different from each other. I am going to wait for them to release, do well and take it from there,&quot; Neha told in an interview. She has been a part of the industry for almost eight years and has done performance-oriented roles in films like &#39;Ek Chalis Ki Last Local&#39;, &#39;Mithya&#39;, &#39;Dasvidaniya&#39;, &#39;Phas Gaye Re Obama&#39; and &#39;Dear Friend Hitler&#39; among others. &quot;I don&#39;t have a godfather who would tell me do this or that. I am not satisfied but I am happy. I think everybody who is doing cinema today has certain magic of their own and I don&#39;t compare myself with anybody,&quot; Neha said. &quot;I want to do films that have good scripts. I have been a part of big projects as well,&quot; she added.u00a0 &quot;We all took a conscious decision not to work with each other for sometime... as we are used to working together,&quot; she said. Neha has a string of interesting projects in her kitty including &#39;Maximum&#39; alongside Sonu Sood and Naseeruddin Shah, &#39;Rush&#39; opposite Emraan Hashmi and a film with Karan Johar&#39;s home production. &quot;In &#39;Maximum&#39;, I play a housewife. While in &#39;Rush&#39;, I play somebody who runs a media house, sometimes his (Emraan&#39;s) friend, sometimes his enemy. I am not playing a journalist,&quot; Neha said, without divulging anything about Karan Johar&#39;s film. Directed by Kabeer Kaushik, &#39;Maximum&#39; will release on June 29 while &#39;Rush&#39; is slated for a September release.
