Bringing back the innocence and quirky charm of the 90s, The Great Grand Superhero presents an unusual superhero story with Jackie Shroff at its centre. In an exclusive conversation with mid-day, filmmaker Manish Saini opened up about his vision behind the film, casting Shroff and working with children.

Saini said the film is designed to resonate with those who grew up in the 90s. “Very few people know that 90s kids can relate to all the jokes in it. I have made a couple of films that are around childhood and they are like that. They have nostalgic values in them,” he said.
