Multiple schedule revisions and months of filming later, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is finally on the home stretch of Love & War. mid-day has learnt that the filmmaker will begin the love triangle’s last schedule on August 3 at Royal Palms in Goregaon. According to insiders, Bhansali is working towards an August 31 deadline, something that has become crucial given the packed calendars of his three leads, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal.

For Kapoor, the timeline is particularly important. The actor is expected to move on to the promotional campaign of Ramayana: Part 1 by mid-September. A source close to the production said, “The delays have pushed Love & War further than originally planned. Everyone has blocked out August for this final leg; beginning September, the actors will move on to their next commitments.”
