In a recent podcast conversation with ANI, Ranaut shared that she was branded a "witch" and accused of dark practices. She recounted, "My ex filed a case against me, and on top of that, some people stood up and said she's a witch, she drinks blood, she does black magic. So there was a witch-hunt,” the actor said.
