While the film was announced in 2024, the details about the casting have been kept under wraps. Rumours are rife that Kiara Advani will step into the role of the legendary actress. There was also a report stating that Saif Ali Khan and Triptii Dimri have been approached for the film. Amid speculations, Malhotra has urged all to stop speculating and confirmed he will announce the details once they are confirmed.
