Filmmaker David Dhawan celebrated his 75th birthday with a star-studded gathering attended by several of his friends and industry colleagues. Among those joining the celebrations were Salman Khan, David’s son Varun Dhawan, producer Sajid Nadiadwala and writer-director Rumy Jafry, who shared glimpses from the evening on social media.

Jafry’s Instagram post offered a peek into the intimate celebration, with David seen posing alongside Salman, Varun and other members of the film fraternity. In one of the pictures, the group gathers around the birthday cake as David stands at the centre of the frame.
