Sunny Deol is set to return as Ikka in the second instalment of Netflix’s courtroom drama Ikka. While the sequel is still in its early stages, the makers are already developing the story, and the follow-up is expected to take the franchise in a new direction. Akshaye Khanna, who starred alongside Deol in the first film, will not be returning for the sequel.

Directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, Ikka brought Deol and Khanna together on screen nearly three decades after their memorable collaboration in Border. The courtroom drama, released earlier this year, revolved around a high-stakes legal battle and marked a reunion that generated considerable interest among audiences.
