Saif Ali Khan is reportedly reuniting with Excel Entertainment’s Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani for an intense thriller 25 years after Dil Chahta Hai. The film, exploring morality and societal issues, is in development and expected to begin production later this year

Actor Saif Ali Khan is set to reunite with producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani for a new thriller under Excel Entertainment, 25 years after ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ (2001). According to reports, the film is an “intense, edge-of-the-seat thriller” exploring themes of morality, ethics, and societal issues. We have learnt that the project is currently in the writing stage, with production expected to begin by the end of this year. A leading female actor is yet to be finalised.
